ABOUT BODHI
Bodhi Blanchard is a sound designer and audio creative driven by curiosity, storytelling, and a genuine love for sound in all its forms. Born in Maryland, he spent much of his childhood moving between Maryland, Delaware, and eventually Georgia. With so much change growing up, music and television became a constant—something reliable, immersive, and comforting. That early connection to sound quietly set the foundation for everything that followed. He first got his hands on audio gear in middle school, volunteering in AV at a children’s church program. By the time he reached high school in rural Georgia, he discovered theater—and everything clicked. What started as a moment of excitement quickly turned into a passion. Although he originally planned to study criminal behavioral forensics, inspired by an interest in true crime, he made a bold pivot: if he got into the Savannah College of Art and Design, he would go all-in on the arts. He did—and hasn’t looked back.At SCAD, he is pursuing a BFA in Sound Design, diving into every opportunity he can find. From working on productions like Little Shop of Horrors at the historic Lucas Theatre in Savannah to recording, editing, mixing, and designing across film, theater, and podcasts, he’s built a reputation for being hands-on, collaborative, and excited to learn. He thrives on variety—whether that means leading, assisting, or jumping in wherever he’s needed, he’s always ready to be part of the process. He’s had the chance to learn from and work alongside incredible mentors, including Fitz Patton, Jamie Baker, Robin Beauchamp, and Rick Hinson. He also completed a one-on-one internship with renowned producer and engineer Joey Stuckey as his personal mix assistant, and is currently working as a paid intern with the Could Be Pretty Cool podcast—continuing to grow his skills in storytelling through sound.Living in Savannah has also deepened his appreciation for the world outside the studio. He’s fallen in love with the greenery, the warmth, and the simple beauty of sunlight filtering through leaves—something he knows he’ll carry with him wherever life takes him next.Bodhi brings a positive, open energy to every project, balancing technical skill with a strong sense of emotion and play. He’s always looking forward—eager to keep learning, creating, and collaborating. One day, he hopes to have a golden retriever service dog named Maple by his side as he continues building a life and career rooted in sound.
